Everyone in your family is important to us at CCC. Children are especially important. In our Children’s ministry you will find dedicated, trained individuals who love children and love teaching them the Word of God. We offer a nursery for infants/toddlers through Pre-K and Kidz church for Kindergarten through 5th grade. Come and check us out. Your child will be glad you did!

Kids Community is a place for kid’s birth through 5th grade to experience the mission of Christ Community Church in a fun, energetic, and age-appropriate way. Children birth through 5 years-old will be cared for in a loving, safe environment. Curriculum will be geared to reach the youngest of Christ Community Church in an age appropriate manner.
Kindergarten through 5th grade will experience Kids Community through Hillsong Church Children’s Ministry Curriculum, Big God. This interactive curriculum is based on teaching about a Big God (LEARN), experience Big Life through small group communities (LIVE), and provide Big Impact opportunities (SERVE) for kids to influence their community, their nation, and their world.
Because safety is important to both us, as a church and you as a parent, we will be using Kidcheck to follow both you and your child. All volunteers also have to pass a background check before working with Kids Community. At no time will a child be unattended without adult supervision. We at Kids Community are very excited to be a part of the building blocks of the future generation of the Church.
Weekend Services - Children's Programs
Listed below are our four areas of children's ministry we provide during our Sundays services at 9:00am and 10:40am.
Nursery &
First Steppers
 |
We believe your child is a special gift from God. The purpose of the Nursery is to provide a safe, loving, fun and comfortable place for your child so that you can enjoy the worship services, or serve elsewhere during the weekend services without worry or concern.
All nursery children will be checked in through our computerized check-in system. Every volunteer in the nursery has successfully participated in the necessary screening procedures. In taking these steps the church is committed to providing a safe place where every child can grow in their lives with God.

The AWANA program is designed to provide excitement and fun, but more importantly to teach children about God and His Word, the Bible. In today’s world, where there are many influences affecting our children in a negative way, it is so very important that they receive moral and spiritual teaching. AWANA is here to help you provide that teaching. Each child has an opportunity to grow in Bible knowledge, in self-worth and in their relationship with God and others. You can help achieve this goal in the following areas:
 Encourage your child to come each week.
 Help them to learn at least one section per week, and have them explain the meaning of what they learned.
 Show an interest in your child’s progress.
 Let us know of any special needs.
Your child will be assigned to a Leader who will work with and encourage him/her. You are encouraged to meet with your child’s Leader. Please feel free to visit a club meeting at any time. If you have any questions, we will be glad to discuss them with you. We ask that uniforms and handbooks be purchased and that the AWANA uniform is required to be worn at all meetings. You will want to buy it as soon as your child completes the requirements for membership. Check with your child’s Leader or Club Director for the amount. Special arrangements can be made if there is any problem in this area. Please make sure that your child’s name is marked on sweaters, jackets, uniforms, etc. Your name should also be on the front of your handbook and any other items you bring. If a uniform or handbook is lost, a replacement must be purchased. Be sure to take good care of it and attach awards as soon as they are given out.

KidCheck is a tool that parents, guardians, and childcare providers use together to keep your children in safe hands. The concept is simple...when you as a parent or guardian create a secure, free account online, we ask for three things to keep your kids safe:
1. Your contact information
2. A list of your kids along with any medical or allergy information
3. A list of authorized guardians
Then, when you visit Christ Community Church all your information is immediately made available by simply checking in with your phone number. As a KidCheck parent, all the information about your child's safety and security is in your hands. With your free account you can securely access your account from anywhere to quickly update your contact information, your child's medical or allergy information, or to change your list of authorized guardians. This gets updated instantly with your childcare providers too, ensuring that they always have the most accurate information.
Does someone else take your child to a childcare facility? KidCheck can automatically send you notifications via text messaging when your child is checked-in or checked-out. Also included with your free account are real-time childcare records and check-in logs. KidCheck can even be used as a free service to securely keep information in the event of an amber alert. You can be assured they have your child's safety as a top priority. Nothing is more important to us than the safety of your kids and we want to partner with you to keep your children in good hands.
Creating a Kid-Check Account
