It is tough being a teen or young adult these days! The world constantly bombards us with the wrong images…without Christ and a Biblical worldview…there is no hope! At CCC youth ministry we want to meet the challenge head-on!  Our philosophy is simple: Teaching our young people what it means to BELIEVE, in a place they feel like they BELONG, helping them to BECOME lifelong followers of Christ. Check us out!

 Youth Overview
Maybe you've been to church before or maybe this is your first time. You might be in middle school, high school or just starting your young adult life. Either way, you are in the right place and we welcome you to Christ Community's "C3X Next Gen Ministries".  Who we are and what we do comes down to this...when the bell rings, when the caffeine wears off, when the party is finished and all the dust settles...everyone has a longing for a deep relationship. We long for close relationships with other people and most importantly with our Creator God.

At C3X, we are all about relationships. We want to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus, with your friends and in a healthy influence on everyone around you. We have a “three-pronged” approach to ministering to the needs of the teens of CCC, Winter Haven, Polk County, and the World! We meet the challenge of middle school with Soular and the needs of high school with Pulse at 6-7:30pm on Sunday nights in the Student Chapel, and our Young Adults meet on Sunday 7pm at Pastor George's House.  That's why every day we ask "how can I take the next step" in my journey with Jesus and with others. It's all about progression, movement and growth.

Welcome to our church. We invite you to visit us soon. C3X youth ministries exist to provide students and young adults with something real to believe, in a place where they belong, teaching them to become lifelong followers of Christ.

Middle School Youth Section

Middle School Youth Middle school - Grades 6-8 are welcome!

CCC youth ministries exist to provide students with something real to believe, in a place where they belong, teaching them to become lifelong followers of Christ. The middle school ministry of CCC is Soular. We meet each Sunday evening from 6:00pm to 7:30pm in the Student Chapel. We are dedicated to helping students in this difficult age find their identity in Christ, and provide them with the tools necessary to stand firm in a compromising world. We have age specific talks on real world, culturally relevant topics. We also take middle school specific trips each year, as well as “large group” activities with the high school and young adult ministries. The highlight of our year is our annual August beach retreat, to welcome our new students, recharge our batteries and get ready for the new school year!

High School Youth Section

High School Youth High school - Grades 9-12 are welcome!

It is important during the HS years to be spiritually grounded. During the high school years, students are hit with peer pressures much different from those during the middle school years. Pulse is the HS ministry here at CCC. We meet each Sunday evening from 6:00pm to 7:30pm in the Student Chapel. At Pulse, we want to hit the issues of HS head on! We emphasize a holy life, while at the same time showing students that it’s ok to have fun! Real world talks and awesome worship highlight our evenings. We go to concerts, youth conferences, and each summer have a 3 day beach retreat. All of our events are focused on building a deeper relationship with Christ.

College and Career Section

College and CareerYoung Adult- We have named our community of young adults: Journey

Studies tell us that over 80% of young adults walk away from the church after high school. At CCC we believe this is a trend we can reverse! Our “tag line” for Journey is “don’t stop believing”! Young adults want something real and tangible to hold on to. We meet on Sundays 7:00pm at Pastor George's house

C3X Youth Ministry is affiliated with Christ Community Church, and is an outreach based youth ministry whose focus is students grades 6 through 12.   C3X’s goal is to equip teenagers with the tools needed to attain a strong and permanent relationship with Jesus Christ.  We teach them how to know God through evangelism and love Him through worship. We plug them into God through discipleship and through outreach ministry.  We are an active group that meets weekly.  We also take road trips and reach out to those in need in our community.  At C3X, we believe that every student is special and deserves to be loved.

Contact and Resources Section

 Ministry Directory
Contact and Resources Being a youth leader, or assistant, can be a real challenge; but the rewards are tremendous. You get to see young people develop skills and gain confidence in front of your eyes. We need people who genuinely have an interest in working with young people, and can commit either to helping at one of our youth groups which meet each week, or on our regular weekend events.

As with all youth organizations, we take the welfare of our young people very seriously.  We have a Youth leader development program which gives you opportunities to develop and expand your skills. This means we don't need you to have any previous experience in working with young people.  If you'd be interested in becoming a youth leader within Christ Community Church, please contact our church office at 863-875-1090 or email us. Please use this to send ideas, comments and encouragement to our Youth Leaders. They will respond to your email as soon as they can.

Listed below are the emails and phone numbers to Ministry Leaders of Christ Community Church's and the days/times that our Youth Small Groups are offered for students as an opportunity to dig deeper into God’s word in more of a community environment. Groups meet during the following times:
