 Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to overcome your hurts, habits, and hang-ups through Jesus Christ.  It is our goal to allow you to share your burdens without interruptions or advice and allow healing to begin. What is discussed here stays here. A person can use God's Word to overcome life's hindering issues.  Do you struggle with any of these:

Overworking

Co-Dependency

Lying

Abandonment

Overspending

Grief

Depression

Anger

Drugs/Alcohol

Overeating

Divorce

Sex

Perfectionism

Anxiety

Insecurity

Fear

Abuse

Guilt

We have a place for wounded people here.  Jesus knows every wound and he's not going to waste our pain.  Recovery takes time.  It reaches and transforms the very roots of our being.  When our recovery is centered on the Lord, his transforming power can turn our pain into gladness.  If you would like to know more about Celebrate Recovery or looking for a share group/step study, contact Tom James at cr@aplacetobelong.com or (863) 875-1090.

5 Components of Celebrate Recovery

Fellowship Time
6-7pm

A dinner is offered each Friday night. This is a great time to fellowship and meet new people.

Worship Time
7-8pm

Each Friday night, we offer an exciting worship service. This includes either a teaching time from the 8 Celebrate Recovery principles or a testimony from someone who has experienced great results in recovery.

Sharing Groups
8-9pm

Small groups are available on Fridays after worship time to provide a safe place for you to share about your week and challenges in recovery.

Accountability Time
9-10pm

After your share group meets, you can drink coffee or enjoy a snack from the cafe. This is a great time to meet with a sponsor or accountability partner.

Step Study
Groups

Small groups are offered at varying times throughout the week to work through a Celebrate Recovery workbook.

Testimonies of Hope

Testimonies are often life changing for those listening.  When a person in the midst of a struggle hears about another person's victory, it can provide much needed hope.  The realization that they are not alone and that others have successfully walked before them is so important.  Revelation 12:11 says, "They overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony."  This verse speaks of the power of testimonies to overcome Satan and live victorious lives.

Testimonies tend to deepen our respect for those around us and tie us closer together in Christ.  They bring us to a deeper understanding of who the other person is and a greater appreciation for who they have become.  Maybe most freeing of all is that testimonies challenge us to live transparent lives free of the hypocrisy of pretending to be someone we are not.  They are powerful and are key to Celebrate Recovery's success in helping its participants find victory.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery group that can help you connect to the One and only higher power - Jesus Christ. If you're struggling with Drugs, Sex, Porn, Alcohol, Abuse, Divorce, Gambling, Codependency, Eating Disorders, or any addiction, you don't have to hide any more. You will find the answer to life's problems and unconditional love. The people there do want to help, but more than that, Jesus wants to help. He's calling your name because He loves you! He made you and wants you to come home. What are you waiting for?
