Perhaps you are new to this whole church thing and are not sure what to expect. First of all, let us say, “We’re glad you’re here.” We want you to feel comfortable. Here’s what a typical Sunday might look like:

As you drive into the church parking lot, don’t be surprised when you receive a wave and a smile from one of our Parking Team members in their salmon colored polos. Pull into either side of the parking lot. The east side is the closest entrance to the nursery area (infant to pre-Kindergarten age) and the west side entrance is our Chapel entrance where Children's church takes place (K-5th grade).
If you are visiting on a day as a solo parent with children, there are spaces just for you next to the handicap parking, so please feel free to use them. We also have a golf cart that will pick up anyone who needs assistance in the parking lot; just wave and the Parking Team will be on its way.
Once you've come into the main entrances, visit the Welcome Centers at either of the doors. As you enter, grab a name tag. It's always nice to have one on, in case you run into an old acquaintance or make a new friend that day! If you have any questions about where to go, specific areas for the kids, etc... Just ask!
The Welcome Center team will be more than happy to direct you to the right place. If you are early, you may want to get yourself something to drink or eat, available in the mall cafe area, before you enter our worship center.
You will quickly notice that we love kids! If you brought yours and need to have them cared for so that you can focus on worship, we have a staffed Nursery and Children's Church at all the services.
You can be assured we have your child's safety as a top priority. We use KidCheck, a check-in system that parents enter their children's information so that we can together to keep your children in safe hands. After registering, matching tags will be made and printed out for the parent and child, were then you will be able to drop them off and pick them up in either the nursery classrooms (0-4yrs) or in Children's Church (5+ and up).
As you enter our Worship Center you will be greeted by one of our ushers where they will hand you a bulletin that contains information about Christ Community's upcoming events. There are no assigned seats, but the ushers will be glad to assist you in finding a space for you and your family.
There will be a “buzz in the air” as new and good friends are connecting. All kinds of people, from every age group, dressed up and dressed down, will be seated around you. You will notice by now that up front are two screens used to highlight upcoming important events that we want you to know about.
All of the words for the songs and notes for the day's message will be on those screens as well. At all of the services, music is led by our Worship Team and Band, which will start the services off.
The Message will inspire and challenge you, with great relevance. You will be able to apply the practical truths given during the sermon, to everyday living. It is the same message at both services.
During each of our worship experiences we allow people to respond to God by gathering an offering. The offering that takes place is a time for our committed members and regular attendees to respond to God for the blessings He has given them. We encourage you to simply come and be our guest; no strings attached.

After the service is over, you'll experience an atmosphere that includes great conversation with people who are interested in knowing you and building a friendship with you.
Stop by the waterfall area after service and meet the Pastors. We also would love to give you a gift to say “thank you for visiting!” at our Welcome Centers, as you leave. We are always welcoming new people. Jesus is making a difference in our lives and we would love to have you experience His heart of love and friendship with us.
Below are the most frequently asked questions about Christ Community Church. Hopefully it will answer any additional questions that you might have.
If not...please contact us at 863-875-1090 and let us know how we can help you. Hope to see you soon!

| How long has Christ Community Church been in existence? |
The church's birth date was in October 2001. We are a young church. |
What Denomination is CCC?
Christ Community is not affiliated with any denomination. We have people from many denominational backgrounds who call CCC their church home. We also welcome people with no church background.
Where are you located?
1895 Overlook Drive, Winter Haven, Florida. Approximately 2 miles north of Cypress Gardens Boulevard.
What do you believe?
Summarized briefly, We believe that God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one God who created all things. We believe that God came to the earth as a man, Jesus Christ, died for our sins, rose from the dead and returned to heaven. We believe that God can make us new and The Bible is God's Word to us. It tells us about him and teaches us how to live.
When are your services, and how long do they last?
We offer two Sunday morning services at 9:00 and 10:40am. Many people come in 15-20 minutes early to enjoy a donut and coffee. Service lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
How many people attend CCC?
The church is continually growing, but currently attendance is around 600-700.
Are the people friendly?
We sure hope so. We want to be "A Place To Belong". You'll be greeted before you can get inside the building.
When I come, how should I dress?
Comfortable, casual clothes are fine. We just want you to come. We focus on worship rather than wardrobe.
So, what is your worship service like?
Happy! Celebrative! Relaxed! Freedom! Awesome! These are some of the words that come to mind. We like to describe it as informal, but well-planned - carried out with excellence, dignity, and sensitivity. You will hear God's Word applied to everyday life.
Tell me about the music.
Our music style is contemporary. Our praise band and singers will lead you in a variety of music from praise and worship choruses to hymns done with a contemporary sound.
Do you have childcare?
Yes. We are committed to serving families. Our children's ministry is a high priority in our church. We have dedicated an entire wing of our new facility to children age 5 and under. Volunteers from our congregation care for infants and toddlers during each service. The nursery and toddler rooms are open to families with children, birth through 3 years of age, each Sunday morning, 15 minutes before service.
What do you have for our children?
During the adult services on Sunday, we offer Children's Church for children 4 years through 5th grade. In Children's Church the kids enjoy praise and worship music, games and crafts, fun and exciting presentations of Bible stories, and object lessons that help them apply God's Word to their lives. Two and three-year-olds also enjoy appropriate Bible lessons and activities. We also offer nursery care during the services. On Wednesday nights we have an exciting mid-week program called AWANA for children through 6th grade.
Will my teens feel included?
Our primary youth meeting is on Sunday evenings at 6pm for Middle School students and High School students. We have a dynamic worship environment and relevant Bible teaching that encourages the teens to believe...belong...and become!
Do you have Sunday School?
We encourage people to become involved in community groups which meet at a variety of times and places throughout the week. We do not have adequate classroom space to offer an additional Sunday School program, at this time.
How can I learn more?
Feel free to roam around our website and find out more about Christ Community Church, the programs we offer adults and children, and the upcoming events that you are more than welcome to join us for! And of course....come and visit one of our weekend services.
