How long has Christ Community Church been around Winter Haven? The church's birth date was in October 2001. We are a young church. (See Our History)

Where are you located? 1895 Overlook Drive. Approximately 2 miles north of Cypress Gardens Boulevard.

When is service time, and how long does it last? We offer two Sunday morning services at 9:00 and 10:40 a.m. Many people come 1020 minutes early to enjoy a donut and coffee. Service lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. (Description)

How many people attend CCC? Attendance is growing. As of the Spring of 2008 there are usually over 700 people present on a Sunday morning.

Are the people friendly? YES. Very! You'll be greeted before you can get inside the building.

When I come, how should I dress? Comfortably. Casual clothes are fine. We just want you to come. We focus on worship rather than wardrobe.

Will I be the only guest? No. We have many guests.

When I come, will you embarrass me by asking me to stand? No, we like to give a general welcome to all of our guests. We do wear name badges so that it is easier to get to know each other.

So, what is your worship service like? Happy. Celebrative. Relaxed. Freedom. Awesome! These are some of the words that come to mind. We like to describe it as informal, but well-plannedcarried out with excellence, dignity, and sensitivity. You will hear God's Word applied to everyday life.

Tell me about the music. Great! Alive! Contemporary and passionate. Some is up-tempo, other times we are meditative. Our praise band and singers will lead you in a variety of music from praise and worship choruses to hymns done with a contemporary sound.

Do you have child care? Yes.  We are committed to serving families.  Our children’s ministry is a high priority in our church.  We have dedicated an entire wing of our facility to children age 5 and under. Volunteers from our congregation care for infants and toddlers during every service. The nursery and toddler rooms are open to families with children birth through 3 years of age each Sunday morning 15 minutes before service.  We also offer children's activities on Wednesday nights for parents wishing to attend our mid-week bible studies or community groups.

What do you have for our children?  During the adult service on Sunday morning, we offer Children’s Church for children 4 years through 5th grade.  In Children’s church the kids enjoy praise and worship music, games and crafts, fun and exciting presentations of bible stories, and object lessons that help children apply God’s word to their lives.  Two- and three-year-olds also enjoy age appropriate bible lessons and activities. We also offer nursery care during the service.  On Wednesday nights we offer AWANA, an exciting midweek program for age 3 through 5th grade.

Will my teens feel included? Yes! Our growing and active youth group gladly welcome your teen. They enjoy Sunday evening and weekday activities.

Do you have Sunday school? We encourage people to become involved in community groups which meet at a variety of times and places throughout the week. We do not have adequate classroom space to offer a graded Sunday school.

What denomination is CCC? Christ community is not affiliated with any denomination. We have people from many denominational backgrounds who call CCC their church home. We also welcome people with no church background.

What do you believe? Most importantly, we believe that God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit are one God who created all things. We believe that God came to the earth as a man, Jesus Christ, died for our sins, rose from the dead and returned to heaven. We believe that God can make us new and The Bible is God's Word to us. It tells us about Him and teaches us how to live. We anticipate the return of our Lord Jesus Christ who will take those who have been born again to live with God forever.
